I’m alive

10 years ago I made what I would consider the best decision I could have ever made, and that was to make Jesus my Lord and Saviour.  To this day I continue to be amazed by Him, and continue to do my best to be a reflection of who He truly is. I would be a fool to take the credit for the reason why I can be a good husband, father, friend, employee, or a good man in general. He is the reason why I’m not just living, but I’m alive. 

On this Easter Sunday, I pray that we all are able to recognize the reason why we are alive.

“Suddenly two men in shining white clothes stood beside them. The women were afraid and bowed to the ground. But the men said, “Why are you looking in the place of the dead for someone who is alive? Jesus is not here! He has been raised from death. Remember that while he was still in Galilee, he told you, “The Son of Man will be handed over to sinners who will nail him to a cross. But three days later he will rise to life.” -LUKE 24
